Biography/Artist Statement

Seok Min Park’s work explores the concepts of time and space, depicting the fundamental elements that shape our world. While Park's pieces, as presented by Gallery Kabinett, are frequently labeled as abstract, they actually depict specific landscapes existing on a boundary. For instance, in the recent piece "Depth Study04," we see time overlapping and stretching, while in the previous work "Depth Study 02," there's an interaction between light and space. As the "Mining Depth" series evolves, Park's art takes on a unique position, transcending the confines of abstraction.
